Atlanta, GA \u2014 December 5, 2024 \u2014 Pyramid Consulting is proud to announce that its ambitious climate goals have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This recognition underscores the company\u2019s commitment to addressing climate change through measurable, science-backed actions aimed at securing a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving sustainability forward with science-based targets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, Pyramid Consulting partnered with Accenture and the SBTi to assess its greenhouse gas emissions comprehensively. The initiative, which is a collaboration among CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute, and WWF, provides a globally recognized framework for businesses to align their emission reduction goals with the latest climate science. The SBTi has now validated that the science-based greenhouse gas emissions reductions target(s) submitted by Pyramid Consulting, Inc. conform with the SBTi criteria and recommendations (Criteria version 5.2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our commitment to reduce emissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year. Pyramid Consulting, Inc. also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel and energy related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, upstream leased assets and downstream leased assets 25% within the same timeframe. The SBTi classified our scope 1 and 2 target ambitions as in line with a 1.5\u00b0C trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SBTi\u2019s validation ensures that Pyramid Consulting\u2019s targets are rigorous, transparent, and grounded in the latest climate science.
